The following terms and conditions are applicable to your purchase, and no agreements or understandings of any nature, including without limitation any oral statements, will be recognized except as written and signed by ALEXANDER JAN (“company”, “we”, “our”, or“us”) and you.


RETURNS

Every piece is unique and custom built to your selected specifications. Please note that all furniture pieces are final sale and no returns are accepted


REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

All orders are considered “special” or “custom” orders. Orders may not be canceled after 24 hours from the purchase date. No refunds or cancellations will be permitted following 24 hours after the purchase date.


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

For international orders, the purchaser is responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, customs charges, tariffs, and fees.


INSPECTION

It is the customer's full responsibility to inspect the product upon delivery to ensure it is in satisfactory condition, without any obvious damage, and delivered in the quantities noted on the order. Any damages should be reported on the delivery note. ALEXANDER JAN will not be responsible for any losses incurred if the customer fails to fulfill this obligation, to the extent permitted by law.

Even if a customer's designee receives the merchandise on their behalf, the customer is still responsible for ensuring all items are in satisfactory condition.


RISK PASSES ON DELIVERY 

Once the products have been delivered by ALEXANDER JAN to the customer or its representative, the responsibility for the products passes from ALEXANDER JAN to the customer including, without limitation, the risk of them becoming lost or damaged.


ACCEPTED VARIATIONS OF NATURAL PRODUCTS

Certain natural products may display variations in shading, size, and finish due to their inherent characteristics, which should not be seen as defects. Natural materials like marble, wood, or stone often exhibit a greater degree of variation compared to other ALEXANDER JAN products, including variations in shading and patterns. These materials may contain imperfections such as knots in wood or variations in shading, color, or veining intensity in marble, reflecting their natural origin. It's highly unlikely to find two natural products that are identical in shading or design. Customers acknowledge that while natural products supplied may not perfectly match those seen on the website or other marketing channels, they will be similar. Proper maintenance is essential for natural products to preserve their quality and aesthetic; customers must follow all provided instructions in the product's warranty and maintenance guidelines.


CLAIMS POLICY

All claims or errors must be reported upon acceptance of goods and confirmed in writing within 15 days of the receipt of goods. All claims made after 15 days will be waived.
